Our Free Resizing Policy
To give you peace of mind, Lumora Diamonds offers one free resizing within one month of receiving your ring. Whether it feels slightly too tight or a bit loose, we can adjust the size up or down by up to three sizes at no additional cost.
This flexibility allows you to enjoy your new piece with confidence, knowing we’re here to make sure it fits perfectly.
Please note that resizing a ring beyond three sizes may pose a risk to the setting or alter the balance of the diamond, especially in intricate designs. To protect the structural integrity and beauty of your jewellery, we recommend staying within this safe range. In cases where a larger adjustment is needed, our jewellers can provide expert advice or explore alternative solutions such as remounting the diamond.
When Resizing Is Not Available
While most rings can be resized, there are certain designs that cannot be safely adjusted.
For example, full eternity bands, pavé-set rings, or designs with diamonds or gemstones set all around the band cannot be resized without compromising the setting.
These styles feature continuous stone placement, leaving no metal area for resizing work. Any attempt to alter the circumference could loosen the stones or distort the design.
Similarly, highly intricate or custom-patterned rings may not be suitable for resizing because the change in band size could affect the symmetry or alignment of the design.
